In 2003 the Gift Barn devoted the lower level to country cottage, primitives, early American colonials and florals as well as other rustic selections. In 2004 a second gift shop, Country Gatherings was born across the parking lot to expand these selections. Amish Heartland magazine said of Country Gatherings, "The store is filled with creative niches that showcase the merchandise in very attractive ways."
The Berlin Village Gift Barn and Country Gatherings are located on state route 39 in Berlin. The Gift Barn is housed in a restored dairy barn with many of its early 1900s features still in tact.
